OUR MISSION
The Church emphasizes teaching and caring for the flock of God, and worshiping under the dictate of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church.
Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth, showing God's love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity in living as He commanded.
By adopting the "preach and teach" method, rooting ourselves in His Word, we welcome others to share in His message of Truth and grow His kingdom.
What’s Love Got To Do With It? Perhaps one of the hardest things we are called to do as Christians is to love. It may not seem like it, after all you love everyday; you love your family, you love your friends. You may even love strangers you have not met nor seen, based upon the common grounds on which your hearts rest. But what about your enemies? Or those who stand on ground so uncommon to your own, you are constantly in battle with one another? The idea of “love” let alone “like” is so far from your heart, that you forget that this is exactly why love is the most important act that God requires above all.
We remember, in the Psalms, David professed his hatred of God’s enemies and desire to destroy them, but who exactly is the enemy of God? You’ll find that it is one and the same with the enemy of man: Satan and sin. Since Eden, Satan has been on a mission to keep enmity and its offspring of jealously, pride, malice and anger, in the hearts of man. Look how far into darkness anger took Cain, and how densely pride covered the eyes of the Pharisees. Look at the very world we live in where the Word of God has to fight to be heard in the ears of Christians! Indeed it is not easy at all to love!
Though often heard during the joyous occasions of marriages, the definition of Love found in Corinthians speaks with heaviness that we, even as Christians, struggle to bear. In its definition we find both a true understanding of what love entails and what hate is made of: impatience, dishonor, distrust, egoism, greed, jealously, and failure. Brethren, pray for the kind of love that God is to reside in your heart. Pray for your adversaries and love the brother that hates you. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
