We are a Bible teaching church that adopts the theme found in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, which reads, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work" (NIV) and our church slogan, "Reading God's Word, Living His Truth" exemplifies our goal not only as a a church, but as God's people, collectively. By doing so, we aspire to recover any lost heart, open any closed eyes, and inspire any downtrodden spirit we meet to submit to the will of God and gain the joy of salvation through and by our Savior, Jesus Christ.
6. WE BELIEVE...and practice two ordinances committed by Christ Jesus—Water Baptism by Immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving the gift of salvation in the name of the triune God, and by taking part in Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for our deliverance.
7. WE BELIEVE... Sanctification Begins through Confession and is not only a declaration that a believer is holy, but also a progressive process of separating from evil as we simultaneously draw closer to God, and reflect His truth.
8. WE BELIEVE...The universal Church has a Mission. The Church is the Body of Christ and is comprised of believers who have accepted God’s offer of Redemption through the sacrificial death of His son, Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to seek and save all who are captive to sin by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and through work and fellowship.
9. WE BELIEVE... in The Second Coming of Christ , when Jesus will return to earth to establishment of His Kingdom, over which He will reign, restoring peace to His people .
10. WE BELIEVE...A Final Judgment Will Take Place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for their sin and consigned to eternal suffering and endless punishment casts out of God’s grace into a lake of fire.
Affirmation of Faith
1. WE BELIEVE...The Scriptures are Inspired by God, established as authority in matters of faith and conduct, declaring His design and plan for mankind.
2. WE BELIEVE...There is Only One Living True God –revealed in three persons…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (known as the Trinity) equal in divine perfection, harmoniously and distinctly purposed in the work of our creation, external circumstances and deliverance.
3. WE BELIEVE: In the Deity of the Lord, Jesus Christ. As God’s only begotten Son (conceived by the Holy Spirit) Jesus was both human and divine. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We also believe in His sacrificial death, physical resurrection, ascension into heaven, everlasting love for His Church, and His inevitable return to earth.
4. WE BELIEVE...though created good, Man Willingly Fell to Sin, ushering both evil and death (physical and spiritual) into the world. Because of this, man is condemned by nature and must seek liberation from sin through Jesus Christ.
5. WE BELIEVE...that Every Person Can Have Restored Fellowship with God, by works of the Holy Spirit, through faith and repentance of their sins and by personal confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
